Halloween!

Today was Brielle's first Halloween! Rob and I enjoyed making Brielle enjoy it. She could have cared less, but it was fun. I planned a fun dinner for the three of us. I made "Cheesy Mummy Dogs" and frankenstein pudding, and pumpkin pie for dessert. It was fun.

And this last Monday for our family night, we carved a pumpkin for Brielle. While she wasn't very much help, she tried to get rid of some of the pumpkin seeds by getting them to her mouth. Oh dear.. It is so much fun having holidays with a little baby, even though I know I'm enjoying them so much more than she is. I know she'll appreciate it when she's older, right?

We put a flashlight in the pumpkin to light it up since we didn't have a candle. Brielle thought it was fascinating. She just stared at it for several minutes, drool spilling from her mouth the whole time. :)

So today after dinner we went trick-or-treating around our complex area. Again, Brielle could have cared less, except for the cold wind that was blowing in her face...she didn't really like that. But she was just the cutest ladybug I've ever seen (from my unbiased opinion!). We tried to see all of the people in our ward that live here in Como, although some were out trick-or-treating themselves! It's great living so close to them!

Isn't she just the cutest thing??!! We just can't get enough of her here. She is changing everyday. I got her to really giggle for the first time on Monday. It was so exciting! She has the cutest little laugh. I have since tried multiple times to get her to do it again, but I think I'm bugging her or something...
And in just the last day she has really started to find her voice. She will make sounds to herself for several minutes before needing me to make noises back. She has the sweetest voice! It is so fun watching these changes day by day! I mean, come on. How can you resist that??  All I can say is that I don't get much done during the days.  I love being a mom!!

She made such a cute lady bug, but really are we surprised?
